How to Take the Backup of Your Smartphone Before the Factory Settings?
Most Android smartphones have factory settings options. It has been present as an in-built setting in the models for a while now. The main work of this factory setting is to reset your smartphone to its original internal state. By internal state, it means that this setting if used will delete all your data including apps and photos and they cannot be recovered later on. Therefore, your phone will become exactly how it was when you first bought it, internally. So it becomes important to back up your data before using these settings or else you will lose all your data including important files. Therefore here are ways by which you can take a backup of your smartphone before factory settings.
1. Backup using professional tools
There is multiple software that is compatible with almost all Android smartphones. This software helps to create backups as well as reset your device. All you have to do is download an efficient working software and launch it on your computer. While launching you have to connect your device to the computer with the help of a cable or wifi. After the connection has been made all you have to do is choose the data you want to backup and the location where you would want to store the backup and then click on the backup option and it's done!
2. Backup into a Google account
Another great way to backup up your data before factory settings is by backing up all the data into a Google account. Almost all Android devices have a Google account that is logged into it all the time. It is important to make sure that the data is being actually backed up into google drive. Every google drive has a lot of space therefore it can back up a lot of pictures and apps. And after factory settings are complete you can log in to the account again and all the data will be revived.
3. Backup using a flash drive
A flash drive can also store a lot of backup data. As we know that the DCIM folder on our smartphones contains all the photos, so after connecting the flash drive to our device we can copy the DCIM folder and paste it into the flash drive. Then all the photos and videos will be backed up. The only setback is that it is restricted to only photos and videos, other types of data cannot be stored here.
4. Backup directly into a PC
While using an Android you can also store your data directly on your computer. All you have to do is connect your device with the help of a USB cable and then copy all the data into your phone and paste it into any location on your Pc. Later after the factory settings, you can take the data back into your device.
Factory settings are a great setting that makes your smartphone as good as new. However, nobody would like to lose their important data, pictures, and files therefore it is important to backup data before using the setting, and above are the ways you can do it.
